In memory of David Donnison 1926-2018

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Professor David Donnison. David was Chair of Town and Regional Planning at the University of Glasgow. He played an important role in the development of the Urban Studies Journal as an editorial board member and also the Chair of the journal’s Board of Management from 1980 – 1987.  It is thanks to the efforts of David and his generation of urban scholars that the journal has become such a world leader in publishing the most cutting edge research in the urban and regional fields.
