Urban Fellows Programme 2019-20

22nd Mar 2019

The Indian Institute for Human Settlements has launched the Urban Fellows Programme (UFP) 2019-20.

The UFP is a ten-month, full-time, scholarship-based interdisciplinary fellowship at the IIHS City Campus in Bengaluru, India. It seeks to combine classroom teaching, site-based applied learning, work in live projects, and external internships to introduce learners to diverse forms of urban practice.

The fourth iteration of this fellowship will run from August 2019 to May 2020. The UFP is committed to providing scholarships to all candidates that receive admission, who are unable to pay the programme tuition, after a review of their financial needs. Recent graduates and young professionals from varied educational backgrounds or practice domains who were born on or after 1 August 1989 are eligible to apply. Applicants must be Indian citizens. OCI Card holders are not eligible to apply at this time. In addition, citizens of Nepal with valid identity documents (Nepalese passport or Nepalese Citizen Certificate or Nepalese Voter’s Identification Card) are also eligible to apply.

Applications are open now and close on 18 April 2019.
